Non-profit groups hosting strengthening families workshop

A workshop to strengthen families is being hosted by the Paramus-based non-profit Children’s Aid and Family Services in collaboration with the Center for Alcohol and Drug Resources and the Boys and Girls Club of Paterson.

Scheduled for Wednesday July 15 at 5:30 p.m to 8 p.m. the workshop will be hosted at the Boys and GIrls Club located at 264 21st Avenue in Paterson. Families will learn about conflict resolution, peer pressure, refusal skills, goal setting, communication skills, and boundaries and limits.

The free seven session program will include:
• Parent Workshops
• Interactive Youth Activities
• Free family meals
• Free babysitting for younger siblings
• Assistance with transportation
• Gift Card Incentives.
