The New Jersey Community Development Corporation (NJCDC) received a $40,000 grant from Bank of America to further its Great Falls Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative.
Grant money will be used continue work to revitalize the neighborhood through community building projects and programs for young people and families, according to the nonprofit.
“Thanks to Bank of America’s ongoing support, NJCDC can continue to forge innovative, creative, and cost-effective solutions to revitalize our neighborhood and help low-income individuals lift themselves out of poverty,” Bob Guarasci, head of NJCDC, said. “We are proud to have Bank of America as a long-term partner.”
To date the nonprofit organization has invested $65 million in revitalization projects and repurposed an once abandoned mill turning it into an anchor that includes a school, offices, and affordable housing units.
