A city man has died from wounds he sustained early Saturday morning in a shooting on North 3rd Street, according to police. A second female shooting victim was wounded in the same incident, police said.

Lamonte Proctor, 19-year-old, and the female in her 20s were shot at around 2:11 a.m., outside of 53 North 3rd Street.
Proctor lived at 53 North 3rd Street, according to police.

Both victims were transported to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center. Proctor was pronounced dead at the hospital. The female victim was treated and released.

Nine hours earlier, two people were shot on 10th Avenue between East 19th Street and Madison Avenue at around 4:45 p.m. on Friday. Both victims, the 18-year-old city resident and the 25-year-old Carlstadt man, were wounded in the lower leg, according to police.

Both victims are in stable condition, police said.
