A city man was arrested early Monday morning on drug charges, according to Passaic County Sheriff Richard Berdnik.

Devon Forbes, 33-year-old, was observed conducting a hand-to-hand drug transaction at around 4:20 a.m. Monday by sheriff’s officer Familia.

18 glassine envelopes of heroin and 41 small baggies of crack cocaine worth $650 was recovered from Forbes, authorities said.

Forbes was arrested on various drug offenses, Berdnik said. Forbes was released pending a court appearance, authorities said.
