The city’s governing body approved the sale of four vacant lots to the Paterson Habitat for Humanity for $60,000.
Each of the properties are being conveyed in return for $15,000. Three of the properties are on Rosa Parks Boulevard and one is Governor Street, according to city records.
The four vacant lot will be improved with single-family homes for low and moderate income households, according to the nonprofit.
The properties the city is conveying to the nonprofit are:
1. 209-11 Governor Street
2. 59 Rosa Parks Boulevard
3. 61 Rosa Parks Boulevard
4. 65 Rosa Parks Boulevard.
Council members approved the sale during last Tuesday’s regular meeting of the governing body.
