Two alleged city drug dealers were arrested during a narcotics investigation at 3 Grimes Place on Wednesday afternoon, according to police director Jerry Speziale.

Police arrested Marcus J. Bell, 24, of Chadwick Street, and Armonie Whitlock, 24, of Grimes Place, at about 5 p.m. on possession of 605 glassine of heroin, said the director.

Speziale said Bell and Whitlock were also charged with intent to distribute and intent to deal close to a public housing complex.

Police seized $1,105 in suspected drug proceeds, said the director.

“The men and women of Paterson’s finest will continue their tireless efforts in ridding the city of illegal drugs,” said Speziale.
