Businesses in the downtown Paterson commercial district are hosting a two-day 4th of July weekend fireworks extravaganza.

Amusement rides, live music, inflatables, reptile show, magicians, face painting, and much more will be featured both Saturday, July 2, 2016 and Sunday, July 3, 2016 in downtown Paterson from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Fireworks will begin at 8:30 p.m. on both nights.

Residents of Paterson and surrounding towns are invited to the free event.

“We are pulling out all the stops with rides, children’s entertainment and fireworks on both nights!” said Sheri Ferreira, executive director of the Downtown Special Improvement District, which has been organizing the event for the past 13 years. “I hope to see all of Paterson and our neighbors at this event!”
