Paterson education group hosting candidate forum Monday night

The Paterson Education Fund is hosting a candidate forum for the upcoming school board election on Monday evening at the John F. Kennedy High School television studio.

Forum begins at 6 p.m. at 61 Preakness Avenue. Candidates running for Board of Education seats will field questions from moderators at the forum.

Nine candidates are running for four school board seats. Christopher Irving*, Kenneth Simmons*, Flavio Rivera*, Corey Teague, Joseph Atallo, Stacey Coleman, and Emmanuel Capers are running for three full-term seats.

Manny Martinez and Errol Kerr are running for Kevin Michael Henry’s unexpired two-year term.

The election is on November 8, 2016.
