The Passaic County Film Commission is hosting a short film production workshop at the county’s planning and economic development office at the Totowa Business Center on October 22, 2016.
Workshop is for high school and college students as well as independent film makers. Commission members with experience in the industry will address the basics of short film production from script writing, proper use of sound and lighting equipment, shooting schedules, finding and directing actors, and utilizing handheld devices for production and editing techniques.
Workshop will take place from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at the Passaic County Department of Planning and Economic Development at Totowa Business Center, 930 Riverview Drive, Totowa, Suite 250.
Commission members will provide a review of the application process and judging criteria of the annual Passaic County Film Festival.
