danforth-memorial-library

The Paterson Public Library is hosting its first-ever Indie Author Day on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at the Danforth Memorial Library featuring local writers and a workshop for new writers.

Authors expected to attend the event are Shirley George Frazier, E. Vonne, Renee Ashmeade, Cornelius Kinchen, Gwendolyn Wells, Randy Jashon Jackson, and Tyronne Moon. Each of the authors live in or have a special connection to Paterson.

Attendees will get opportunities to mix and mingle with the authors, buy their books, and attend a discussion geared towards aspiring writers.

Indie Author Days are held across the country to bring local writing communities together in their libraries to participate in author panels, book readings, signings, workshops, and presentations.

The event will began at 2 p.m. with a reception and book signing at the Assembly Room of 250 Broadway in Paterson.

A New Writers Workshop will follow at 3 p.m.
