School board candidate touts years of education activism

letter-to-editor-hq

My level of advocacy for social change and activism, especially within the public education is well documented as was proven by the most recent endorsement of my candidacy by the Paterson Education Association.

The work I do is real. I am the parent who “holds the bullhorn” while putting pressure on the administration to do right by our children. I am that parent who travels to Trenton every time I hear that a decision could be made that would impact our children. I am the parent who pounds the pavement all year long just to update fellow parents about what’s happening within the school district. I am the parent of a multiply disabled child which is one of the reasons why I have advocated so hard for reform within the special education department.

This work isn’t easy but it is vital. Paterson’s children must have a voice on the school board. I know that I am one of those voices.

Corey Teague
School board candidate

  • MarquinhoGaucho

It is rare to find a candidate with such integrity and moral conviction as Mr. Teague. He has tirelessly fought against the criminal mismanagement of the Christie/Cerf/Evans/Pearson mafia-who seek to exploit our students for their financial gain. They purposely undermine our children's education in order to justify charter expansion. We need an advocate like Teague to speak out against the travesties committed by Christie and his lackey Donnie Evans
