Several dozen students from School 26 visited the headquarters of Wyndham Worldwide last Thursday to learn about careers.
Jeff Esquillo of Wyndham Worldwide led the students on a tour of the hotel and resorts company’s Parsippany headquarters while discussing various employment opportunities within the company.
Students asked Esquillo: “How do I get to work here?” He told them to remain in school and work hard.
“You need to study math, science, history, art, music, English, foreign languages,” Esquillo told the eighth grade students.
Wyndham Worldwide has been conducting these tours since 2011 as part of its Student Success Program aimed at students from economically challenged neighborhoods.
