A city man has been arrested and charged with attempted murder for his alleged involvement in a shooting on North 1st Street, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
Ryan Parker, 31-year-old, has been charged with three counts of attempted murder and weapons offenses. He is accused of shooting at three people, wounding two in an incident on North 1st Street and Jefferson Street on May 14, 2017, authorities said.
Parker allegedly wounded a 21-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman, both residents of Paterson, authorities said.
Police had a warrant out for his arrest for the North 1st Street incident, authorities said. Parker was arrested on Tuesday on unrelated drug and weapons offenses.
The state has filed a motion to detain him until trial, authorities said.
