Students will be let out early on Monday due to excessive heat, announced the Paterson Public School District.

Elementary schools will be dismissed at 1 p.m. High school students will be let out at their normal dismissal time.

High schools already dismiss early because of exams.

All afterschool and evening programs have been cancelled, the district’s announcement said.
