Ten people were displaced from their homes on Walnut Street following a fire on Sunday afternoon, according to deputy fire chief William Henderson.
Firefighters battled a single-alarm blaze at 134 Walnut Street that was reported at 3:43 p.m. Henderson said firefighters found heavy smoke throughout the building and conducted a search of the occupied structure.
