A shooting at a pool hall in downtown Paterson left one person wounded early Friday morning.

Police responded to report of a shooting on Church Street between Market and Ellison streets at around 2:40 a.m. One person with a gunshot wound was located at the scene.

Ambulance rushed the victim to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center for treatment.

The victim was shot inside the Paterson Billiards.

Police were searching for a stolen vehicle that fled from the scene just after the shooting.
