The city’s school district will remain closed for a second day on Friday due to bad weather.

School officials also cancelled afterschool and evening programs, according to the district’s announcement issued on Thursday evening. All after school and evening programs for the weekend also have been canceled except for the Paterson Recreation program.

The Passaic County Technical Institute (PCTI) will also remain closed for the second day on Friday, the school said in an announcement.

The Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology is also closed for a second day. All weekend activities have been canceled, according to the school.

The Paterson Arts and Science Charter is also closed on Friday.
