A large fire destroyed a commercial building on 17^th Avenue on Saturday night.

Firefighters arrived at 6:25 p.m. to find the structure fully engulfed in flames. Fire was visible on the second floor of 226 17^th Avenue.

Fire was extinguished before 8 p.m. A second building, 224 17^th Avenue sustained damage.

Fire officials did not respond to calls for comment on Sunday.
