All five were charged with having 3 knotted bags and 1 cigarette of marijuana. They were each charged with intent to distribute, intent to deal in a school zone, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

"2 knotted bags and 1 cigarette of marijuana" constitutes "intent to distribute"? Among 5 people?
Is this for real? In 3 or 4 months, possession of these will not even be illegal! Paterson Cops, well spent of your time and taxpayer resources. Start earning your pay the right way. Quit raising revenue and keeping the lawyer/cop/prison/judge/political Et Al industrial complex rolling, making yourselves look good with these easy pickin's!
Ignore this petty bullshit and start going after the MR BIG'S distributing heroin. Oh, I forgot, the payoffs and bribes come from MR Big, are much much bigger that the $1507 that was confiscated, I guess that was not enough to make it worth the squad of God to pocket for themselves
