A city man was wounded in a shooting on Carroll Street on Thursday afternoon, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.

The victim, 26-year-old, was wounded on Carroll Street at around 4:16 p.m., authorities said. Police responded to report of a shooting on Carroll Street and Park Avenue to discover a crime scene, but could not locate a victim.

Police said the victim later arrived at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center seeking treatment for multiple non-fatal gunshot wounds.
