A man was killed in a shooting on Hamilton Avenue on Saturday morning, according to police sources.

Police responded report of a shooting on Hamilton Avenue between Carroll Street and Rosa Parks Boulevard at about 7:50 a.m.

The death has been ruled a suicide, said two municipal officials.

Authorities did not release any information about the incident.

Police referred request for comment to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office. Seth Galkin, assistant prosecutor, did not respond to a message for information about the incident on Monday.
