Paterson police arrest three in Slater Street drug bust


Three city residents were arrested and 363 glassine envelopes of heroin was seized during a raid at a Slater Street home, according to police.

Ivan A. Aranceta, known on the street as “Forty,” 26; Jose S. Amaro, 58; and Stojan Nonkovic, 42, were apprehended during a raid at 209 Slater Street on September 11, 2018, police said.

Aranceta was charged with possession of 363 glassine envelopes of heroin stamped “Unfrogetable,” “Happy Meal,” and “TNT” with blue ink. He was also charged with intent to distribute and intent to distribute near School 3.

Police confiscated $191 from Aranceta.

Amaro and Nonkovic were each charged with loitering to commit a drug offense, police said.

    How do you know they dont have money? Just cause he got caught with that on him doesn't mean he dont have 10mil put up somewhere

    Problem is Paterson literally has thousands of drug dealers with basically less then a dozen narcotic officers. To top this off most of the police force have a I don't care mentality and to add to this the liberal Politicians won't and can't even enforce a squeegee nuisance
