First, I’d like to congratulate the winners of the 2018 Paterson Board of Education election. Secondly, I want to address those who voted for me. I certainly didn’t get enough votes to return to the school board. However, I couldn’t be prouder of all of you for supporting me!

Remarkably, I feel good. Disappointed? Sure. But I still feel good. I feel good because I don’t see the tally on election night as a loss.

What I see is 4,000+ Paterson voters hitting the polls to support me today in the cold rainy weather. That means THE WORLD to me. If I could kiss and hug each and every one of you individually I would.

Thank you for proving to me that you are listening and that you trust me to advocate on behalf of your children. You have given me strength I didn’t think I had. I can sleep peacefully tonight knowing that I had a positive impact on over 4,000 Paterson voters! 4,000 Paterson voters joined the ranks of TEAM TEAGUE!

God is good! I assure you that I will continue to be a strong advocate for our children.
