A city man was arrested on Thursday afternoon for allegedly fired shots on Temple Street.
Rajaheem Alston, 22-year-old, was identified as the alleged actor in the incident that took place on Wednesday, February 6, 2019. He is charged with aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and certain person not to have weapons.
Authorities said he allegedly fired the shots on Temple and North 5th streets at around 7 p.m. on that date.
Detectives Salvatore Marotta and Joehan Suarez of the Ceasefire Unit identified Alston as the actor in the incident. He was arrested early Thursday afternoon on Grand Street and Dale Avenue, police said.
Alston is being held pending a court hearing.
