4 people injured in Paterson shooting


Four people were injured in a shooting on 12th Avenue early Monday night, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.

Police responded to report of a shooting on 12th Avenue and East 23rd Street at around 7:45 p.m., authorities said.

Upon arrival, police located four victims, a 23-year-old Paterson man, a 20-year-old Garfield man, a 27-year-old Paterson man, and an 18-year-old Garfield man inside an establishment on 12th Avenue suffering from non-fatal gunshot wounds.

Police rushed the four victims to Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Authorities said police continue to investigate the incident.
