The police arrested three people from New York in a drug bust on River Street, according to police.

Police charged Elizabeth Merchant, 27, of Liberty, NY; Zachariah Mercer, 32, of Monticello, NY; and Victoria Norwich, 26, of Liberty, NY, on drug charges.

Each was charged with possession and intent to distribute, police said.

The trio was arrested on March 29 at 490 River Street, police said last week. They had 202 glassine envelopes of heroin, police said.
