The police arrested four people and seized thousands of pills in a Main Street raid on Friday, according to public safety director Jerry Speziale.
Speziale said detectives seized 3,922 Oxycodone pills, a loaded Ruger P95 9mm firearm, and $32,067 in cash during the raid at 339 Main Street at around 7:50 p.m.
Detectives also confiscated 184 Xanax pills, 7 bottles or 2.6 pounds of Promethazine, 7 bags or 346 grams of marijuana, 1 bag or 7 grams of crack cocaine, and 6 hollow point 9mm rounds.
Police charged Ignacio Quiroz, 23; Kenneth Grant, 27; David Ramirez-Martinez, 69; Joshua Cruz, 25, all of Paterson, with numerous drug offenses.
Quiroz, Grant, and Ramirez-Martinez were each charged with 19 drug and weapons offenses, police said. Cruz was charged with marijuana possession.
Quiroz and Ramirez-Martinez lived together in Apt. 3A at 339 Main Street.
“We are working around the clock to get guns and drugs off our streets,” mayor Andre Sayegh said. “I am proud of the work that our police department performed in this operation.”
