Three men were injured in two separate shootings early Sunday morning in Paterson, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
Police said a 26-year-old and a 23-year-old were injured in a shooting on Lawrence and Mercer streets at around 12:47 a.m. Police responded to report of a shooting in the area, but could not locate victims.
A short time later, both victims, Paterson residents, arrive at Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center seeking treatment for non-fatal gunshot wounds.
Almost three hours later, police responded to a second shooting on Market Street and Lakeview Avenue. A 23-year-old Paterson man was shot at around 3:30 a.m. He arrived at the hospital seeking treatment for a non-fatal gunshot wound, authorities said.
