The police arrested three people and seized hundreds of glassine envelopes of heroin in a pair of raids, according to public safety director Jerry Speziale.
Albert Amaro-Luna, also known as “Albee,” 21, of Paterson; Kelvin Lopez-Taveras, 25, of Paterson; and Felix Lopez-Taveras, 31, of Passaic City, were arrested in raids at 145 Jasper Street and 311 Redwood Avenue at 7:37 p.m. on May 24, 2019.
Police seized 790 glassine envelopes of heroin, 23 Percocet pills, and 1 knotted bag of Fentanyl. 14 hollow point rounds were also seized, police said.
All three were charged with 11 drug offenses each and possession of hollow point bullets. Police seized $1,641 in suspected drug money from the three men.
$582 from Amaro-Luna, $966 from Felix Lopez-Taveras, and $93 from Kelvin Lopez-Taveras.
