A city man was injured in a shooting on Straight Street late Tuesday night, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.

Police said the victim, 26-year-old, was struck by gunfire on Straight Street between Lawrence and Montgomery streets at around 10:26 p.m. He was rushed to Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center for treatment.

His injuries are non-fatal, authorities said.

The investigation remains active and ongoing, authorities said.
