As we prepare for a new school year, I want to take the time to personally thank each and every teacher in our school district.

It’s important that we let our educators know that we appreciate them.

On average, most teachers spend upwards of $500-$1,000 of their own money on supplies for students who can’t get them on their own including food and even clothing at times.

None of those funds are reimbursed. It’s a labor of love.

So, again, let’s make sure the teachers know we appreciate them!
