A man from Belleville was injured in a shooting on Pearl Street in Paterson early Tuesday evening, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.

The victim, 31-year-old, arrived at Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center seeking treatment for a non-fatal gunshot wound, police said. Police responded to report of shots fired on Pearl and Carroll streets at around 6:28 p.m.

A crime scene was found, but no victims were located until police were advised by the hospital.
