One man was killed and another was wounded in a shooting on Ellison Street early Sunday morning, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.

Police identified the deceased victim as 38-year-old Richard Henry of Paterson. Police located Henry and another victim, 23-year-old Carlos Munoz of Paterson, with apparent gunshot wounds outside of 43 Ellison Street at around 1:30 a.m.

Henry succumbed to his wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. Munoz was taken to St. Joseph’s University Medical for treatment.

Police said Munoz is in stable condition at the hospital.
