Paterson getting $1.33 million grant for road repairs

The New Jersey Department of Transportation awarded $1.33 million to Paterson in late November.

Funds awarded through the NJDOT Municipal Aid Grant Program will be used to resurface various municipal roadways.

The award this year is 7-percent less than last year. Paterson received $1.4 million in last year’s award.

“We are thankful to Governor Murphy and the New Jersey Department of Transportation,” said mayor Andre Sayegh. “The grant award will greatly aid us in the continuous effort to improve the infrastructure of the City of Paterson for our residents.”
