Paterson police arrest six people in Park Avenue drug bust, seize $2,300 cash

Six people were arrested and $2,296 in cash was seized in a drug bust on Park Avenue, according to public safety director Jerry Speziale.

Detectives arrested three alleged dealers and three buyers at 106 Park Avenue on Monday after getting complaints of drug dealing in the area, police said.

Joshua Mojica, 24; Zacharius Mobley, 24; William Vasquez, 29; Alquan Montgomery, 28; Fernando Santiago, 47, all of Paterson; and Brandy Ervin, 24, of Clifton, were arrested in the bust.

The alleged dealers, Mojica, Mobley, and Vasquez were each charged with seven drug offenses. Police seized $2,296 in cash from the three men. Each of the buyers, Montgomery, Santiago, and Ervin, were charged with drug possession.

Detectives seized 58 jars or 1.4 pounds of marijuana.
