Paterson man injured in 15th Avenue shooting


A city man was injured in a shooting on 15th avenue early Saturday morning, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.

The victim, 21-year-old, arrived at Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center seeking treatment for a non-fatal gunshot wound at around 12:10 a.m.

A preliminary investigation suggests the victim was shot on 15th Avenue, police said. Police were alerted to gunfire in the area of 15th Avenue between East 26th and East 27th streets.
