Hundred and eighty-two people tested positive for the new coronavirus on Saturday, registering the single biggest increase in positive cases in Paterson so far, according to municipal government data.
Municipal officials reported 915 confirmed cases with 10 deaths.
On Saturday, the number of fatalities from Covid-19 in Paterson increased by one. Details were not available for the 10th death on Saturday afternoon.
Age of the victims in Paterson has ranged from 36 to 84. Seven were men and three women, according to public data.
Paterson has the most cases in Passaic County which reported 2,856 confirmed cases with 38 deaths on Saturday. Overall, New Jersey reported 34,124 cases with 846 deaths, according to the state health department.
