A city man was wounded in a shooting in the area of Park Avenue on Easter, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
Police said the victim, 22-year-old, was shot at around 4:33 p.m. on Sunday. Police arrived at the scene, but could not find a victim.
A short time later, police were told the victim had arrived at Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center seeking treatment for a non-fatal gunshot wound.
The victim is the fifth person wounded in shootings over the long Easter weekend. A man was shot on East 32nd Street on Friday. Three men were shot on Grand Street on Saturday.
