Hundred and thirty-eight people tested positive for the new coronavirus on Monday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in Paterson to 1,947, according to municipal government data.

One death was reported on Monday. In total, 60 people have died of Covid-19 in Paterson. Age of the dead run from 22 to 96. 56% of the deceased were men; 44% were women, according to data.

Paterson has the biggest outbreak of the virus in Passaic County. The county has 5,950 infections with 136 deaths. Overall, New Jersey had 64,584 confirmed cases with 2,443 deaths on Monday.
