The number of people tested positive for the new coronavirus in Paterson increased by 81 to 5,916 on Saturday afternoon, according to municipal government data.

Fatalities increased by two to 306 on Saturday.

Paterson has the largest outbreak of the virus in Passaic County.

Passaic County has 15,031 infections with 831 deaths. Overall, New Jersey had 145,089 cases with 10,249 fatalities on Saturday.
