A man was rushed to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center on Saturday afternoon after his motorcycle collided with a SUV in Clifton, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.

Ahmed Bashir, 35, of Paterson, sustained serious bodily injuries in the crash. His 2017 Honda CBR motorcycle collided with a 2011 Honda CR-V at around 1:48 p.m. on the eastbound side of Route 3 near Passaic Avenue in Clifton.

Authorities said the SUV was being operated by Marilyn Basile, 59, of Ridgewood. She was not injured in the crash.

Basile provided authorities with a valid driver’s license.

Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
