The number of people tested positive for the new coronavirus in Paterson increased by 32 to 6,037 on Wednesday afternoon, according to municipal government data.

One new death was reported on Wednesday, bringing the total fatalities from Covid-19 to 307.

Paterson has the largest outbreak of the virus in Passaic County.

Passaic County has 15,426 infections with 855 deaths. Overall, New Jersey had 150,399 cases with 10,747 fatalities on Wednesday.
