Three people were wounded in a shooting on Rosa Parks Boulevard late Sunday night, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.

The victims, a 31-year-old woman, an 18-year-old man, and a 15-year-old juvenile, were struck when gunfire erupted in the area of Rosa Parks Boulevard and 12th Avenue at around 10:05 p.m.

Police located the 18-year-old and the 15-year-old victims at the scene. Both were rushed to Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center. While the teens were being taken to the hospital, police were advised the 31-year-old woman arrived at Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center seeking treatment.

Authorities said the three victims suffered non-fatal gunshot wounds.

The shooting remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the Paterson Police Ceasefire Unit at 973-321-1342.

yooooo just place car in this area….there is shooting 2-3 times a week…..just park couple cop cars there

That would be commonsense and too much thinking for PPD

I’m not sure this would have any real impact. Already there are cameras and other surveillance devices hanging all over the neighborhood that do nothing to de-escalate crime and gunplay. The bangers would just move to the next block.
