The number of people tested positive for the new coronavirus in Paterson increased by 34 to 6,328 on Saturday afternoon, according to municipal government data.

Daily new cases have been dropping since the beginning of May with some fluctuations. The three-day moving average of daily cases stands at 34.

No new fatalities were reported on Saturday. Paterson has 366 deaths from Covid-19.

Paterson has the largest outbreak of the virus in Passaic County.

Passaic County has 16,099 infections with 925 deaths. Overall, New Jersey has 159,608 cases with 11,634 fatalities.
