A city woman has been charged with allegedly violating governor Phil Murphy’s emergency orders to contain the new coronavirus, according to authorities.

Blavca Barron, 61-year-old, served patrons inside the food and beverage social club she runs on Grand Street. She was charged on May 31, authorities said.

Police issued Barron a warning. Later, police found customers sitting at the bar inside the business, authorities said.

Authorities said violation of emergency orders carry a possible six-month jail sentence and $1,000 penalty.
