The number of people tested positive for the new coronavirus in Paterson increased by 15 to 6,489 on Monday afternoon, according to municipal government data.

Daily new cases have been dropping since the beginning of May with some fluctuations. The three-day moving average of daily cases stands at 13.

No new fatalities were reported on Monday. Paterson has 302 deaths from Covid-19.

Paterson has the largest outbreak of the virus in Passaic County.

Passaic County has 16,461 infections with 975 deaths. Overall, New Jersey has 164,497 cases with 12,214 fatalities.
