Three Paterson men shot on Market Street


Three city men were wounded in a shooting on Market Street early Friday morning, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.

The victims, 19, 24, and 20, were struck by gunfire on Market Street and Madison Avenue at around 1 a.m.

Police located the 19-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound at the scene. He was rushed to Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Police were advised the other two victims arrived at the hospital seeking treatment.

All three men suffered non-fatal injuries, authorities said.
