A man from Kenilworth was wounded in a shooting in Paterson late Saturday night, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
The victim, 41-year-old, sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound.
Police believe the victim was injured in a shooting on 9th Avenue and East 28th Street at around 10:30 p.m.
The victim arrived at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center for treatment, police said.
The shooting is the latest in an escalating series of violent incidents in Paterson. Last week, seven people were shot, four fatally. On Friday night, three people were shot on 10th Avenue. Two of the victims were in critical condition.
