Two people were wounded in a shooting on Godwin Avenue early Tuesday morning, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
Police said a 17-year-old and a 22-year-old city man arrived at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center seeking treatment for gunshot wounds.
The 22-year-old victim is in critical condition at the hospital, police said.
Police believe the victims were struck by gunfire on Godwin Avenue and Straight Street at around 12:41 a.m.
Since Friday, nine people, including a 14-year-old, were wounded in street shootings in Paterson.
