A city man was wounded early Saturday morning in a shooting on East 24th Street, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
The victim, 25-year-old, was located on 21st Street and Madison Street, authorities said. Police received information a shooting victim was at the location.
Upon arrival, police found the victim with two non-fatal gunshot wounds. He was rushed to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Police believe the victim was wounded when shots were fired on East 24th Street and 14th Avenue. Police were alerted to gunfire in the area at 3:26 a.m., but could not locate a victim.
